As an all-round acoustic guitar with a more manageable, grand auditorium body, the Sire Larry Carlton A4GS deserves to be played...all the time. That's because this Sire model not only has a roasted solid spruce top but packs unprecedented playing comfort at a sweet price. The roasting treatment ensures the A4GS has a degree of humidity that's similar to a ripened vintage model. Together with the back and sides of mahogany, this shapes a lively, full-range acoustic guitar sound with lush trebles and, since this electro-acoustic guitar is also equipped with the Zebra 7 SIB double-source pickup system, the tone can be very precisely tweaked to taste.

Ik zocht een goede allround akoestische gitaar. Omdat ik een basgitaar van het merk Sire heb en daar zeer tevreden mee ben en omdat er van de Sire Larry Carlton A4GS zeer positieve reviews op internet staan deze gitaar gekocht. Prijs kwaliteit verhouding is geweldig. Een massief geroosterd bovenblad en een massieve achterkant met een preamp waarin ook een microfoon verwerkt is en de Grand Auditorium body is alles wat een gitarist kan wensen in een akoestische gitaar, en dat voor deze prijs!
Nu ongeveer een maand in bezit en hij voldoet helemaal aan de verwachting. Afstelling zo uit de doos is goed. Afwerking is goed, alleen een paar oneffenheden in de lak maar die heb ik er al uitgepoetst. De frets zijn perfect afgewerkt, de hals speelt heel licht. Ik heb er een nieuwe set Elixir nanoweb Phosphor Bronze 12-53 snaren opgezet en meer was niet nodig. Ook versterkt klinkt de gitaar fantastisch. Al met al zeer tevreden met de aankoop. Voor deze prijs denk ik niet dat je meer gitaar kunt kopen!
